E-learning
The Scottish Fire Services College is a leader in the provision of work based e-learning in Scotland.
Through the LCMS, the College provides the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service with flexible, interactive and relevant online learning opportunities - a complete solution for delivering tracking, assessing, recording and reporting on all development programme activity.
E-learning modules are aligned to the National Occupational Standards and the Firefighter Development Programme. Modules available through the LCMS include:

- V1 Unit
- Managing Yourself
- Community Fire Safety
- Incident Command
- Dynamic Risk Assessment .. And many more
The LCMS is an invaluable tool in terms of the assessment process, with recorded assessments providing evidence of a learner's achievement of knowledge and understanding - a seamless integration with the Personal Development Record system (PDRPro).
Service specific learning resources are provided giving learners relevant and up to date material in line with their local risk types. Learning resources include:
