From 1 April 2009 Skills for Justice took on the role of providing the support you need to operate the Integrated Personal Development System (IPDS) as part of the Service Level Agreement with the Scottish Government and the other UK Administrations. Skills for Justice is a Sector Skills Council - one of 25 such bodies providing support for workforce development for some 85% of employees in the UK. Skills for Justice already work with the Police, the Prison Service, the Probation Service and a number of other organisations across the UK.

The IPDS documents that were available on the Fire Service College website have now been transferred over to the Skills for Justice website.
